To start our learning about Native Birds we brainstormed our prior knowledge. Prior knowledge is what we already know or think we know about Native Birds. Please don’t tell us if we are wrong or what you know as we want to learn these things as we read and inquire into Native Aotearoa Birds. After reading about zoos we made posters that communicate a message to you about zoos. Can you tell what the message is? Then we shared some thoughts around animals in zoos and whether we should have zoos. What do tyou think?
We have been learning about cats and asking the question:
Are cats pets or predators? Should we have cats? How we have described the cat should let you know if these descriptive words describe a cat as a predator or a pet.

Terry was wanting to chop some wood and Any was setting it up. Disaster struck. Terry swung the pax and cut Andy is half.
All the people went to the campsite And Terry wanted to know where is the big shiny luxury hotel. Andy said camping holidays are all about putting up your own shelter, doing your own cooking and making your own fun.
Then Andey asked Terry to bring the tent that Terry was supposed to bring.But Terry said tent?
Andey was like yea the tent Terry said that he heard can you tack the pent Andey was wondering Huh? But that makes no sense at all.Terry said I know thats what I thought so instead i packed one of these [Terry pulls out a huge pepper grinder And He made the pepper go everywhere ]
The Elephant also known as the trunkinator starts to unfold his Huge handkerchief so he can hold it up to his trunk.Then Andey got an idea Andey said “hey Trunkinator since you aint using the handkerchief right now can we use it Please”
The Trunkinator said OK.
Andey makes everyone help him make a tent with A Huge peppergrinder, Lollipops and The Trunkinators Hankerchief. So everyone helps him make a tent.By the end of the day it was finished.
